Refund and Return Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1. "Company" refers to Model Car Shop LTD, the seller of the products.
1.2. "Customer" refers to the individual or entity that has made a purchase from the Company.
2. General Policy
2.1. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your order, please review our refund and return policy below.
3. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds
3.1. To be eligible for a return and refund, the following conditions must be met:
a. The return request must be made within 14 days from the date of delivery.
b. The item(s) must be in the same condition the item was sent to you, unused, and undamaged condition with all original packaging and tags.
4. Return Process
4.1. To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
a. Contact our customer support team at sales@modelcarshop.co.uk to request a return authorization.
b. Provide your order number and a detailed reason for the return along with photographs.
c. Our customer support team will provide you with instructions on how to return the item(s).
4.2. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a mistake on our part or a defective product.
5. Inspection and Approval
5.1. Upon receiving the returned item(s), we will inspect them to ensure they meet our eligibility criteria as stated in Section 3. If the return is approved, we will process the refund or replacement.
6. Refund Process
6.1. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 14 days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.
7. Non-Refundable Items
7.1. The following items are non-refundable:
a. Gift cards or e-gift cards.
b. Downloadable software or digital products.
c. Personalized or customized items.
d. Models that are classed as "assembled" - Unless Damaged or defective.
e. Model kits that have been opened, started or damaged in the process of being built.
8. Exchanges
8.1. We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item, please follow the return process as outlined in Section 4, and then place a new order for the desired item.
9. Damaged or Defective Items
9.1. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 1 days of receiving the order. We will provide instructions for returning the item, and we will cover the cost of replacement parts, If parts are not available to be sourced within 14 working days, The option of a refund or partial refund will be made to you.
9.2 Model paintwork quality often varies on partwork models, and unfortunately, this is a variable beyond our influence. Nevertheless, we are unwavering in our commitment to ensuring that you receive the highest quality paintwork we can provide.
9.3 Please note that the following characteristics do not qualify as defects or damage: minor blemishes, faint swirl marks, minimal bubbling, uneven paint application, a lack of smoothness, or slight colour discrepancies.
10. Cancellation Policy
10.1. You may cancel an order before it has been shipped. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more information.
